Intercultural Couples Retreat
Do you wish you could get your couple relationship back on track but things keep getting in the way?
Do you long for a break in your life – the time, space, freedom and guidance - for you to renew and restore the intimate connection you desire with your partner?
The Intercultural Couples Retreat offers you an opportunity to take that time and space, to give your relationship the attention in that break you both need.
In an idyllic setting of a country estate hotel, at the Retreat you will focus, together, on what you both need for your individual relationship, and you’ll be guided in doing so by expert couples and group psychotherapists, who will teach you new ways to think and how to behave, renewed as a couple, together.
In this innovative retreat you will share experiences, ideas, and new ways of being, with other intercultural couples. Research has shown that working with others ‘in the same boat’ can be a powerful driver of both interpersonal change and renewal.
In each weekend you will have therapy as an individual couple with a couples therapist who will teach you communication skills and address the intercultural differences between you, group couples therapy with a couples therapist with specialisation in group couples therapy; a lecture session with an international researcher, clinician and author about the elements of successful relating as an intercultural couple. And this to take place within the comfortable setting of a country hotel, with delicious meals, and exquisite gardens and spa facilities. And it is a dog-friendly hotel, for those whose weekend would not be complete without their dog with them!
